Sugar & Olives is dedicated to making wholesome, healthy (and happy) food. We believe that good health and happiness are a product of a wholesome diet. Who has time to figure out healthy food? We do. We promise to give you what you love—and make sure it’s good for you, too. Our offerings are first based on what we can find that’s grown locally, and every attempt is made to source organic products whenever they are available. The four seasons allow for a wide variety of crops here in Connecticut. Our beef is grass-fed and sustainably-raised from farms in upstate New York. Our poultry is always organic and free-range, and locally-sourced when possible. While utilizing what we find and writing our menu based on availability, we produce little waste, if any at all. Our food uses whole grains and is trans-fat free; olive oil is used in many recipes in place of butter; and we are an allergy-aware establishment. We want your edible experience and your time with us to be more then just a great meal—we want you to relax and enjoy the whole affair.
